Even though I've had no contact with Gwen since we left Landon so many years ago, I'm sincerely saddened by learning about her passing.  I do carry very positive feelings about her, and only have warm memories of Gwen... in class, in the halls, in the cafeteria.  As I think about her now, I don't believe I ever saw her with anything but a smile on her face and an open, willing hand to help or contribute in any way she could.

Gwen doesn't have a profile incorporated with this website, so I have no idea what she has done or where she has been during the past 60 years but, based on my memory of Gwen while we were in school, I believe she would have applied herself with passion, heart, commitment and complete regard for everyone and everything around her.

As 'funny' as it feels to say this, considering that Gwen & I haven't exchanged one word that I can think of, in the past 60 years, I'm going to miss having her in the world.  I look forward to seeing her on the other side when the time comes.

Although so many of us have not connected since we walked the halls of Landon, no matter what one remembers thosr that always greeted you with a warm "hello", a chat, or sharing tidbits of interest. This was Gwen, as we sauntered to and from several classes during Landon High School years. Gwen you always wore a smile and we always found something to share. Now, you are amongst the angels ....
